Bayfair Daycare attempts to create and provide a stimulating environment so that it will meet the needs of each child in order for them to grow to the fullest capacity to which they are capable of achieving. The program will be flexible to meet the needs, the appropriate level, and capabilities of each child. The areas of development in which we will work to nurture are: intellectual, mental, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual.Their staff is very happy to be serving you in this way. By reading over their Policy and Procedures, they hope that you will catch a glimpse of what they offer here at their centre.Each of the classes here at the daycare has program plans for the week. These “themes” will take into account the age group of the child and include several areas of learning.

They seek to nurture learning in the areas of numbers, letters, reading readiness skills, small motor and large motor activities, puzzles, games, songs, stories, creative experiences, and dramatic play to name a few. Programs are evaluated regularly and their center falls under the jurisdiction of the Day Nurseries Act. Newsletters will be sent home periodically to inform you of upcoming events.They now offer services for children 15 months of age up to 12 years. Spaces are limited for children 15 to 18 months of age. They also offer a Junior and Senior Kindergarten program as an alternative to those programs offered through the School Boards. For those who are entering Grade 1, and until they reach the age of 12 years, they offer a before and after school program, as well as, full-day care during Professional Activity Days and School holidays.
