KINDERWORLD

They aim to give your child the opportunity to develop and learn through free play and structured learning activities. Experience in a wide variety of play and learning activities helps to develop the use of language and expression; the understanding of concepts; imagination and creativity; social awareness, including multicultural awareness; co operation and self control. Children need to make sense of the world through curiosity and discovery, involvement, and guided activities set at the right level for their age and capabilities. Their social and emotional needs must be met also and this is considered to be of paramount importance in small children. A happy, loving atmosphere with plenty of cuddles allows a child to develop his/her true potential.

Each child is treated as an individual because staff are given responsibility for small groups. Children like to feel that they have one or perhaps two “special” key-people who know them and understand them and can comfort them when they need it. To achieve their high standards of child care, it is their general policy to appoint only professional Staff – qualified as Nursery Nurses, or training towards a qualification. At Kinderworld they put children at the centre of the daily activities and routines, understanding how the security of daily routines helps children feel safe and secure which enables them to grow, learn and develop with confidence. They respect each child’s culture and help them learn about the importance of relationships, and how to respect themselves and others so that they develop a positive self-image.

They offer inclusive care, with their fees covering food, nappies and ointments, and our staff to child ratios are above those set by the government. Young children develop faster when they have a well structured routine to help them through their day. Children at their nurseries follow daily routines to give them comfort and security, as they understand what is happening, and so reduces their fear of the unknown. This in turn improves their behaviour and increases self esteem. All their nurseries include a garden, and children play outside every day, in all weathers. Their motto is there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad planning! Their family rooms are made up of children who are between two and five years old.
