At Kids of the Kingdom, we know that a happy childhood is the start of a fulfilling life. That’s why they stress Biblical knowledge, social learning, cognitive learning, the development of self-esteem, and emotional maturity. Their program encourages shared play plus interaction with loving teachers to build emotional and social skills that your child will rely upon today and into the future.Children at Kids of the Kingdom learn about God, themselves, and getting along with others. Guided by well-trained teachers, children choose daily from activity centers that encourage them to develop competence and self-confidence in a variety of skills. Children will learn through organized group activities. These activities reinforce reading, language, following directions, and a number of other important skills.

Kids of the Kingdom has a very loving and enthusiastic atmosphere. During the fall season at Kids of the Kingdom they have enjoyed a number of fun activities. They have made apple pie, pumpkin pie, and oatmeal cookies.Outside, they play with their big parachute in which they talk about colors and practice following directions. They have gone on walks on the warm autumn days and collected leaves. They have enjoyed going on a field trip to a nearby pumpkin farm where we saw pumpkins and animals. they have learned a number of stories from the Bible and are very successful at learning their Bible memory verses.Kids of the Kingdom childcare is searching for Christian childcare teachers as their enrollment increases.They are looking for someone with at least 60 semester hours of college credit 18 of which are related to early childhood and child development.

The Healthy Child Care America (HCCA) program is coordinated by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), Early Education and Child Care Initiatives (the Section on Early Education and Child Care) , and is partly funded by the Child Care Bureau (CCB), Office of Family Assistance (OFA), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, HRSA, US Department of Health & Human Services.The HCCA program is a collaborative effort of health professionals and child care providers working to improve the early education and health and safety of children in out-of-home child care. This includes increasing access to preventive health services, safe physical environments, and a medical home for all children. The program also strives to increase pediatrician participation and effectiveness in providing high-quality care and promoting early education and children’s health and well-being.

HCCA Goals is To promote the healthy development and school readiness of children in early education and child care by strengthening partnerships between health and child care professionals.To provide information and support necessary to strengthen childrens access to health services.To promote the cognitive, social and physical development of children in early education and child care.To provide technical assistance regarding health and safety for health professionals and the early childhood community.To enhance the quality of early education and child care with health and safety resources.To support the needs of health professionals interested in promoting healthy and safe early education and child care programs.The AAP Early Education and Child Care Initiatives occasionally receives additional funding to carry out special projects.
